They are getting sealed!! Week 80

Whats up fam!! This week was awesome! We got to go to Bahia Blanca for a leadership meeting for the Zone Leaders and it was super fun! I love Bahia so much cuz I was there for like 7 months. But yeah it's so crazy that we can facetime and stuff every week now! I like it though, it's easier than writing back and forth every week haha.
This week nobody went to church and we were super sad. Morena has such a strong testimony but she never goes to church :( she literally feels the spirit so strong she cries sometimes and reads the book of mormon every day! I just want to yell at her to go to church! So frustrating haha. I think this month will be good though. The goal is 2 baptisms for us so we will try to get it! It will be hard but i think if we work super hard we can!! Our zones goal is 15! Which i've never seen a zone get 15 before in one month so it would be awesome if we got that!
I got to talk to some of my converts in Bahia when i was there and they told me that they have plans to get sealed in the temple this year! Maybe right when i leave so i might be able to go! I'm so excited that they are gonna take the next step and get sealed!! I love them so much! Hearing that like made whole my mission!!!
Love you all so much! You are the best! Keep reading ur scriptures and saying your prayers and you will be happy! BYEEE!!!

Full Ride Scholarship! Week 79

THE PROPHET IS CALLED OF GOD!!! We get to call our families every week now its so crazy!! The Church is true! This week was really awesome! We had many long nights in the terminal waiting for the new missionaries to come in from transfers. One night we had to wait from 10:00pm - 8:30am for Hermana Birchall to leave to Bahia Blanca throughout the night… so we didn't sleep that night.. It sucked haha
Investigator update!
  • Morena is progressing a lot and is going to be baptized in a couple weeks! She's been reading the Book of Mormon and Praying every day!
  • Alejandro needs to be married but has a strong desire to be baptized still. We Need to try to figure out a marriage date with him so he can do it!
  • Franco and Brenda are progressing but still need to go to church. They texted us right before church and said they weren't gonna be able to make it :( so that was pretty sad.
  • We also found a lot of cool new people that we will be passing by again this week so I will let you know if anyone progresses!
Love you all so much! I was reading 1 corinthians 13 this week (the famous chapter about charity) but it really hit me! Like everyone needs to have charity. It doesn't matter what we do, if we do it without charity it means nothing! It's just so true that if we don't have Charity (the pure love of Christ) WE ARE NOTHING!!! Love you all so much! Have a great week!

Cool story:
We have an 18 year old girl in our ward and she is the best runner in Argentina for 800m. And so Southern Mississippi scouted her and we translated a Skype call at her house with the Coach from Southern Mississippi state. She's going on a full ride scholarship! (our translations skills basically got her that scholarship! haha)

All missionary emails were also changed. My old one will continue to be forwarded to me until the end of my mission so it will still work. But my new email is:

Yeah Man: Week 78

Alright so it's transfer time again! And sadly my companion is leaving me :( but I get to stay in this awesome area! I didn't want to leave so I'm excited! We had some awesome lessons with Alejandro who now is going to be getting married at the end of the month! And also with Morena and Franco and Brenda who will most likely be getting baptized late February or early March! So I'm super excited to be staying another transfer! This week we paid rents and did some divisions as well! It was a great week!
This week I read over Mosiah 2-6 about King Benjamin's speech! It says that during the speech, there were so many people that not everyone could hear his words. So they decided to build the tower higher so more people could hear. But even then, not everyone was able to hear. So then they assigned people to write out his words and give them to the people so everyone could hear them! We as missionaries try to talk to EVERYONE we can, but sometimes it's still not enough. We can't talk to everyone so we need you guys to be the “scribes” and share the word with people that don't have to chance to talk to the missionaries! SO I hope everyone can share the gospel with someone this week! Love you all!!

Funny story:
While we were in Acha paying rent, we didn't have lunch so we went to a restaurant and this basketball team walked in and on the team there were 2 very tall black guys that looked like American B Ball Players. I wasn't sure if they were American so I asked them in Spanish if they were a local team here in Argentina. And then one of them answered me in English “yeah man” and starting laughing. I asked them what part of The US they are from and they said from Alabama and Florida. So that was cool! I love seeing Americans here it's the best! sadly I didn't have my camera :(

First my debit card, Now my camera: Week 77

This week went by super fast!! Nothing major happened! We had 2 divisions so I wasn't in my area too much. And we had a district meeting. I went to General Acha which a small little town like 2 hours from Santa Rosa. And then I went to another ward's area in Santa Rosa that is just full of dirt roads and fields. We walked a ton! We also had to find a new house for the sisters to live in today, and then paint their old house that had the burn marks. We had to paint the whole house and it took so long but it was fun!
It has been SOOO hot lately! I feel like I'm gonna die…  I think it's just gonna get hotter. It's the humidity that really kills though. It's good for losing weight... so i'm not complaining ;)
We had a district meeting this week and I talked about how we need to work more with the members! It was a good meeting!
For those of you who read my letter last week, you know that I lost my camera on a bus ride. But we called the bus company and they said they found it and would keep if for me until I picked it up. So I got it back!! First my debit card now my camera! God Loves me!
I love this work! It's so fun to be able to see people keep commitments and follow the Savior! Brenda and Franco and Morena have been reading the book of Mormon so much lately and it makes me so happy! We read 3 Nephi 11 with an investigator this week and it was SO powerful.( Everyone should read it) The spirit is always so strong when we read with them.
Love you guys so much!! Hope you all have a great week!
