Hey Fam and Friends! This week was super fun and a lot of things happened. First off i found out my comp Elder Hayes is going to be a Zone Leader next transfer, so i know he is leaving. He is excited to be Zone Leader but bummed to lñeave our area and investigators.
We had some awesome lessons this week, but the best was with Valdebenito Family (claudio and his fam). We had 2 lessons with them. On tuesday we did Lesson 1 (with the whole family this time), and on thursday we had a FHE and Lesson 3 with them. The wife Monica made us THE BEST empanadas i've ever had, and we taught the sons Enzo and Lucs how to do the rubik's cube. The Spirit was SO strong. Everyone was crying when we talked about Faith, and the wife Monica said she feels peace throughout her whole body when we come and teach. We were like “yeah that's called the spirit” haha. They are all gonna get baptized for sure, they just need to get married and it's a done deal. I hope i don't leave next week so i can be here. Their Baptism date is next month.
My comp had to go to Bahia Blanca for a leadership training since he is becoming a ZL. So i was with Elder Miskimens for a day. He's super cool, and he served in my area before so he knew the members and the area. We visited some members and they said “Hey we are having an asado today you guys need to come” (this family LOVES Elder Miskimens). So we did. And the Asado was super good. Me and Him found some new investigators too that day and tried to have a lesson but it fell through :( When we went to the terminal (bus stop), our taxi got pulled over and the cops. I was asleep in the back cuz it was 1am in the morning, but they told me i had to get out since i didn't have an ID yet. They asked me some questions like where i am from and stuff and i was good to go. They just told me i need my Visa. I was in my santa PJs so that was kinda funny.
We also had a District P-Day and everyone wanted me to wear my Santa PJs around downtown Mar Del Plata. so i did haha. It was sick. Other than that, nothing major happened this week. We have our christmas party with president on thursday so i'm looking forward to that. Love you guys! Hope you are enjoying the Holidays, and watching the light the world videos!
