Un Uruguayo! Week 43

This week was awesome!!! On Tuesday and Wednesday I was on divisions with the Zone Leaders because I was companionless.  We waited in the bus terminal for like 12 hours so that was fun… not…
On Wednesday we went to the mission office at 8am to go pick up my new son! (Translation: son =The new missionary he would be training) We all ate breakfast together (not knowing who our sons were yet) and then we split up and did training. We got trained to be a trainer and the greenies got trained to be missionaries basically. It was really good! Then we met back up to see who our sons were gonna be. It was this PowerPoint thing where my face went up on the screen so I ran to the front, and then they put my son's face up and everyone cheers and we hug take pics and sit down. It was fun haha my son is named Elder Gonzalez from MonteVideo Uruguay!!! He's 19. He's super cool. He wants to work and be obedient so I'm happy! I love being able to only speak Spanish. It's the first Latino comp have and it's been helping me a ton! We got right to work and taught tons of lessons and contacted a bunch! We had an AMAZING lesson with Luciano who committed to baptism on July 7th!! We are super excited for him. He has been praying and reading the Book of Mormon every single day which is awesome! We have a few lessons set up with him this week so keep him in your prayers please :)
Love you all!! I have really been strengthening my testimony of the Book of Mormon and prayer this week. I was stressed about training and everything and so I just took time to pray and read the Book of Mormon and i felt SOOO much better. It really does bring peace and Joy in my life. Have a great week!!
