It's a Win Win // Last Email EVER: Week 101

This has been an amazing week. In the last email I think I mentioned that some people contacted us in the street. Well this week we had a lesson with Fernando (the other one that we didn't already pass by). It was our first lesson with him and we got in and sat down and chatted casually for a second. Then he got up from his seat, pulled out a book of mormon and 3 of our pamphlets and said “I took some lessons from the missionaries a couple years back, but I wasn't ready to hear the gospel then. Now I'm ready and I want to know more.” we were like what is going on this never happens!! Such an amazing miracle! We have another lesson with him this week! He even went to church this past Sunday! I'm bummed I'm not going to be here to see him progress more but I'm excited to hear what happens!

This week Elder Villar is coming so on Thursday and Friday we have meetings in Bahia. So I'm going to Bahia Wednesday night and staying there until I finish my mission. SO I only have 2 more days in my own area. CRAZY!! I'm super excited to hear from a general authority and receive some personal revelation!

Well folks this is officially my last weekly letter home. Next week we have pday with President and Hermana Hymas  and I don't think we have time to write or call home. Time has honestly gone by too fast.. The mission really has been the best 2 years. Preaching the Gospel to those who need and want to apply it in their lives. Over these past couple of years I've really been able to develop a relationship with my Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ. I know that they live and love us so much. I'm so grateful for EVERY experience that I've had here. The success and the rejections, the friends I've made and arguments with companions, every little thing in the mission has helped me come closer to my Savior and get to know Him better. Serving a mission is the best decision I have ever made and I am forever grateful for the time I've had and the people I've met here in Argentina. I think in many ways they have changed my life more than I have changed theirs. I know this church is true. I know Christ lives and atoned for each and every one of us, and I know that our Heavenly Father loves us, knows us personally, and has a PERFECT plan for us. Hold to the Iron Rod! Read your scriptures and say your prayers! Love you all!

Funny Story

Again NOT thaaat funny but since it's my last week we have been saying goodbye to a few people and trying to get some good food appointments as well haha. Our strategy is me saying “Hermano I'm going home next week and I want to learn how to make____ . You make the best ___ and I would love it if you taught me.” And then they get all excited and we get to eat exactly what we want with them and we learn how to make it!! It's a win win!  So this week a member (Hermano IbaƱez) taught us how to make Milanesas and they were the best milanesas I've ever had!! I don't know if it was his recipe, or because I was the one who made them. But I tell everyone it's because I made them haha.Tomorrow we are going to make empanadas and on Wednesday an ASADO!!!! I'm super excited! Gonna be a great week!
