Do I Stay or Do I Go .... : Week 36

Hi Friends and Fam

THIS WEEK WAS CRAZY!!!! It had its ups and its downs. We had a district meeting this week which was fun. Me and my comp are leading our zone with 15 fechas (baptism dates)!! so we are stoked about that. We set 6 last week because we taught 2 different lessons with 3 people in each and they all accepted the challenge to be baptized if they receive an answer! they are all super interested, its awesome!!

On a sad note, one of our investigators newborn baby (13 days old) passed away. Luciano and Romina are the parents. We actually got to go to the hospital and see the baby the last day it was alive. They wanted us to come so we went. The babies name was Alma (means soul) She was born like 2 or 3 months early and was barely 2 lbs. it was super sad. They have a date to get married and baptized still though! keep them in your prayers please :)

TRANSFERS!!!!!! Do I stay or do I go??? drum roll please..........I AM STAYING HERE!!! my comp is also staying!! I was scared I was going to leave! I'm super happy I'm staying though. I love all our investigators!! we were so happy hahah

This week was awesome. We are BOOKED all the time now. we are just running places and taking buses to get there faster and stuff because we have so many lessons haha its awesome!! I love when we are booked like this. Its way more fun and time flies! its crazy. I feel like it was just Pday yesterday.

Funny Story: okay this story was kinda funny but not really. We told an investigator (Beatriz) that she has to get married if she wants to get baptized and she started cracking up laughing. She was like you really think I can get my husband to marry me?? it was bad. They have been together for like 20 years. She really wants to get baptized so I think we can do it.

Love you all!! The church is true!!! I was listening to one of my favorite Elder Holland talks this week called "Safety for the Soul" I invite everyone to listen to it or watch it if you have time! Its so good!!! Hope everyone has a good week!!!

Elder Tanner
