Hey fam! This week was another awesome week out here in the Arg. We started it off on P Day with having an asado (argentine bbq) with a less active family! We shared a message and watched the restoration video with them and the 10 year old daughter who isn't baptized said she wants to get baptized and her family wants her to get baptized. So we are working on reactivating them and baptizing the daughter!! We were stoked when we heard that haha.
Me and my comp taught this 8 year old kid because his mom wanted us to teach him before he got baptized. Also the dad isn't a member so we thought it would be good to become friends with this family and teach the dad. We taught the boy Luciano and he had his baptism on Saturday!! Me and Elder Robinson spoke at the baptism! It was awesome!
We contacted a bunch and got 13 new investigators! And we also set 2 more baptism dates! And they are both super good ones with a lot of potential. One was a member reference named Nicolas (imagine that ! a reference in Argentina haha) and he has been going to institute and everything. He loved it! We are hoping to get a few baptism next month!!
Funny Story: A member who lived in the US for many years and speaks perfect english without an accent called a member we were eating with. The member said he was with the missionaries right now and this guy asked if he can talk to us. He said he loves talking english with people and asked if we want to have lunch. He said he can make anything. He loves cafe rio (and so do we) so he said he He is gonna make us cafe rio burritos. and he asked us if we want anything from amazon because he is making a big purchase soon haha. We have lunch with him on Thursday so it's gonna be awesome. He lives in an 18,200 ft square foot house that's not in our area so he said he's just gonna bring us the food and get our amazon order. We hit the jackpot somehow hahaha
Love you guys!! If you get the chance go back and listen to some conference talks! They were amazing! Me and my comp are downloading them all right now!
