Dear Family and Friends,
Thank you for all my birthday wishes! I had a great day!
I'm in Viedma!! I got transferred to the most southern part of the mission. It's in a different province called the Rio Negro. So now I've been in all 3 provinces of the Bahia Blanca Mission! There are only 8 missionaries down here. I had to travel 6 hours from santa rosa to Bahia and then I had to wait in the terminal in Bahia for 12 hours and then I had another 4 or 5 hour bus ride to get here to Viedma. So it's been a long week. My new comps name is Elder Norton. He's from Layton Utah. He only has 4 transfers here in the mish so he's still pretty new. We worked SOOO hard this week. We found 27 new people to teach and got 3 people at church! And all 3 people that went to church have baptism dates! I'm super stoked to be working here in Viedma. We have a goal to get 3 baptisms this month so we are gonna be working super hard to get that. I've been a little sick lately but nothing major. Just a little cold.
I've been studying more in Alma lately and I've been reading a lot about the war chapters. I love how much faith the Nephites have in the Lord! Especially the stripling warriors. They know that they are only fighting to protect their families and faith and that the Lord will always help them! I know that in the mission I'm fighting to help people come to know the gospel and our Savior. And that no matter what the Lord will always be there to help me! I also heard a talk my companion had on his ipod called “Self Worth” by Hyrum W. Smith that was really good. I highly recommend it!
I'm stoked to be here in Viedma! It's always fun getting to a new area and just tearing it up and talking to everyone!! It's more fun because everything is new to me haha I'm still trying to get to know everyone here so I'll give you guys an update on the people we are teaching next week!! Love you all! Have a great week!
