Hi friends and family,
This was my first week as Zone Leader and I'm exhausted.
Tuesday morning i took a 6 hour bus ride to Bahia Blanca from Olavarria. Then I was in the terminal allll day on Tuesday. I left Bahia Blanca for Santa Rosa at 7:00 and it was another 6 hour bus ride. Then I got there Wednesday morning and we worked on Wednesday and Thursday and then I left Thursday night for Bahia Blanca again to go to a leadership training. I was at the leadership training all day Friday and got home on Saturday at 3 in the morning. So I was pretty dang tired this week haha. Lots of traveling. Elder Ramirez is my comp and he is also a ZL. He is awesome!! I can already tell he is going to be one of my favorite companions. Our Zone has 22 missionaries in it so it's one of the biggest ones in the mission. I'm in charge of doing all the finances and stuff. Like I have to pay for every ones rent and bills and bus tickets and water and stuff. So hopefully I don't lose anything because I will have to pay it myself if I lose it. But it is super fun!! I love it.
On thanksgiving we made a big feast with chicken and pies and ice cream and mashed potatoes and salad and stuff. It was way good! We live in a house of 4 and some other elders had to come to our house because they were called as district leaders and had to go to Bahia with me! So we all feasted.
I know the church is true!! Every time I bear my testimony of it my testimony gets stronger. I have been reading lots of the book "Saints" lately and I know that Joseph Smith really was a true prophet. I Love being a missionary!!
Funny Story:
We went to go teach one of our investigators that is 10 years old. But it happened to be her birthday and she had like 5 or 6 friends over. She still wanted us to teach her and she had all her friends listen too. We taught the importance of baptism and all of the kids who are all 10 years old said they also wanted to get baptized hahaha. So the mom of our investigator is going to talk to all their parents and get permission to see if we can teach them. But it was a super good lesson. #BautiNiños
