They Call Me Messi ... Week 26

Hi Friends and Fam,

This week has been super hard but also super fun! We found a lot of our investigators and had some pretty good lessons! (sadly none showed up to church though) that's always such a bummer. Every time you think they will come and every time they don't haha it sucks. But it's all good we will get em in there next time!
We found a GOLDEN investigator. He's 12 years old and the son of a less active who we have been talking with. We invited this kid to play soccer with us and he loved it. We are like best friends with this kid. He is most definitely going to get baptized probably this month. Here's the catch…. He moved on Saturday, 2 streets into the Hermanas area in our ward. So we aren't allowed to teach him anymore :( We were so sad. We even helped them move.
Soccer was super fun and somehow I balled out. We were playing with some really good guys and somehow I got 4 goals. They all happened to be luck cuz I was in the right place at the right time but still. These Latinos were thinking that I was good or something haha
We had a district meeting in Olavarria (2 hours away) so we took a little charter bus thing that we rented out with the 12 missionaries from Tandil. Our new zone is awesome! It has so many hilarious people. Elder Anderson and Brian are still in our zone, and My mtc comp elder Stott is now in our zone! My “dad” elder Hayes and elder Scheiss are our Zone Leaders and they are super chill too. I love our Zone. We have 28 missionaries (biggest zone in the mission). We have our Zone meeting and interviews tomorrow with president!
We had a lesson with Ezequiel who is ready to be baptized this transfer we think but if it doesn't happen this transfer it will for sure happen next transfer. So I hope I stay! His parents don't really support his decision, but he's 22 so he doesn't need their permission technically. He's awesome though. We taught him the commandments (all of them) and he accepted all of them with ease.
I have been really trying to focus more on my studies lately and I have been feeling the spirit way stronger. We had some awesome lessons where I totally had the gift of tongues. One highlight of the week was when Marcos (our 12 year old friend) asked my comp why he has such a bad english accent, and he said that I don't have one haha. Love that kid
Love you all,
Elder Tanner
