This week was another amazing week! I mean of course it had some downs like every other week, but it definitely more ups! It's seriously just so awesome to be able to serve the Lord every single day even if we don't always have success.
We had a few really good lessons this week! We thought we were going to get a baptism on saturday with our investigator Ezequiel but his parents kinda freaked out on him and so he wants to ease them into the idea of getting baptized :( He's awesome though! He goes to church every week, and institute every friday. He said to our mission leader (they are good friends) that if it was his choice he would have already been baptized. So we are praying for him. Hopefully he will be able to get baptized this month! (march). We have transfers in 2 weeks so I'm hoping i don't get transferred. We also put a baptism date with our other investigator Brian for April! We've contacted a lot this week and found 10 new investigators that i'm pretty excited for!
I've been really focusing on studying for my investigators and for the lessons i'm about to teach them instead of for myself, and i've learned so much! This P day we explored the calvario (calvary). It has a ton of statues of Christ, starting with gethsemane, and leads up to him on the Cross. Its catholic of course but the statues were pretty amazing. Our district leader Elder Gonzalez and his comp Elder Rasmussen use our same Cyber (computer place) so they came over and made tacos for us. He is from mexico so the tacos were pretty dang good haha he made some Homemade tortillas and everything!
The church is true! It's so amazing to be able to serve the Lord every single day. Even when i'm dead tired from walking miles on miles i always feel so much joy when i'm doing His work. Seeing people feel the spirit is the absolute best! Love you all! And Give the missionaries references!!! They really like them haha. Have a good week!
