He Got Us Good -Week 27

¡Hola familia! This week was crazy. It definitely had its ups and downs haha.
We found some awesome new investigators that only speak english. They are from India and are down here studying Spanish for a year! They were super interested in going to church and the Book of Mormon. They even read the introduction and said they were going to read it. They seemed super excited. Here's the thing though. With our luck, the numbers they gave us didn't work because they were long distance numbers, so we've been praying to run into them on the street.
We found out that our investigator Ezequiel told his gf (who is a member) that he wanted to get baptized ASAP! He really is the most golden investigator. So we planned a lesson that would finish teaching him everything, but last minute he had to cancel on us (he's never cancelled on us so it was weird). So hopefully we can teach him this week and set a new date for 1 or 2 weeks! We are super excited for him.
We had a really spiritual lesson with a woman named Martha. She is about 60 or so, and we teach her in a little store thing she owns with her husband Hector (Hector is basically deaf and doesn't want to try to listen to us haha). But we taught all of lesson 1 and she had tons of good questions. At one point, super randomly, she stopped and said “whenever you guys are here I feel so much peace. I just feel so good. Do you guys try to do that or something?” I felt the spirit so strong when she said that, and I told her how  we do actually and the spirit is what brings that peaceful feeling. It's awesome to see how much the spirit can actually work inside of people. I love when I am able to provide people with the opportunity to feel the spirit because that is really what will help them become converted.
We've been playing a lot of futbol and last friday we had like 6 non member kids show up so we are gonna try to visit them this week. Once again, I killed it in soccer ;) I got a hat trick haha I love playing soccer it's so much fun.
Today we had a SUPER fun P-Day with our ZLs. We took them sight seeing a little bit, and we hiked a huge mountain that overlooked the whole city. It was prob like a 6 or 7 mile hike. But it was super fun. We made friends with some dogs at the beginning and they followed us the whole entire hike.
Funny story - We had some investigators numbers in our phone, and we didn't know who they were. So I decided to call them and try to set up some lessons! Well it worked really good actually, I set up 4 lessons from like the 8 numbers we had. Well 3 of them lived in the Hermana's area so we were bummed about those, but we had 1 in our area! His name was Ariel. He seemed super cool and willing for us to stop by. He said the address was Belgrano 551 and so we go to the address and it's the huge catholic cathedral. He thought he was funny. I thought it was hilarious. I just started dying laughing hahah (He got us good!)
Hope everyone had an awesome Valentines day! I love you all! Valentine's day as a missionary is nothing special but I got to eat some candy and read some cards! Have a good week!!
